Yassine Oukacha, head of the parliamentary group of the National Rally of Independents party, stressed that the government's balance sheet presented by the Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch before the two chambers of Parliament embodies the course of 5 years of continuous work and facing crises in an international context characterized by uncertainty, and its direct and indirect effects on the national economy.
Oukacha highlighted, during his hosting in a special program on the "Hespress" website, that the current phase remains governed by major stakes, which requires from the various components of the majority, including the RNI group, to continue performing their tasks with the same harmony until the last minute of the legislative term. The RNI leader stated that the electoral deadlines of September 8, 2021, took place in conditions characterized by transparency and clarity, and produced a cohesive government majority that gained the trust of citizens through the ballot boxes, considering that the allegations related to the use of money harm the political practice and the national democratic experience. Oukacha warned of the danger of questioning the legitimacy of the elections and institutions, stressing that such proposals are issued by parties that have not yet grasped the results of those elections, calling on anyone who has information regarding possible violations to resort to the judiciary instead of promoting accusations. He also considered that one of the most prominent gains of the current government experience is the restoration of the level of confidence in political work and institutions, pointing to the increasing interaction of citizens with organizational and political initiatives, which reflects the vitality of the national democratic scene. Oukacha noted that the evaluation of the balance sheet should be based on facts and achieved results, away from reductionist readings, in a way that consolidates a democratic path capable of responding to the aspirations of Moroccans.
