HIBAPRESS – Ahmed Al-Musaed
The city of Oujda hosted a prominent organizational stop for the Istiqlal Youth Organization, during which four new local branches were renewed and established. This step comes under a significant slogan: "Youth in the service of the rising Morocco.. and a generation that makes the future," expressing the organization's involvement in the developmental dynamic that the Kingdom is witnessing.
The meeting witnessed the presence of more than 500 young men and women from different neighborhoods of the city of Oujda, in a scene that reflects the vitality of the organization and its ability to attract. Mohamed Zein, the regional inspector of the party in Oujda, confirmed that this initiative aims to move from one sub-organizational structure to four branches (Sidi Idris Al-Qadi, Sidi Zian, Sidi Maafa, Sidi Yahya) to ensure comprehensive geographical coverage of the city, and to reach the youth in their neighborhoods to listen to their aspirations and politically frame them.
In this context, Omar Hejira, a member of the Executive Committee of the Istiqlal Party, stated that this massive presence is a "practical and direct response to the theses that promote the youth's reluctance to political work." He added: "The Istiqlal youth today proves that they are aware of their responsibility, and we are here to open the doors to the competencies of doctors, engineers, and cadres to be active in decision-making, and not just numbers in election campaigns."
For their part, the elected local secretaries of the new branches expressed their pride in the organizational trust. They pointed out that the youth's involvement in the Istiqlal Party stems from a conviction of the necessity of "change from within the institutions," stressing that the party opens its heart and mind to the new generations to continue the founding journey with a modern vision.
Razqi, a member of the National Council of the Party, also confirmed that this "organizational proactivity" aims to prepare young elites capable of entering the upcoming entitlements with realistic programs that touch the core interests of the Oujda citizen.
The meeting was not without linking organizational affairs to the economic dynamics that the Oriental region is witnessing, where it was emphasized that the major projects launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, headed by the "Nador West Med" port, transform the region into a global economic hub that requires qualified and politically and economically trained youth to benefit from the available opportunities.
The works concluded by emphasizing that the mission of the four new branches will not be limited to party meetings, but will extend to include political and citizenship training: qualifying young people to understand the mechanisms of managing public affairs, field follow-up: continuous presence in the neighborhoods to raise the demands of the residents and frame local initiatives, elite making: preparing young competencies to assume positions of responsibility in territorial groups, regions, and the parliament.
With this stop, the Istiqlal Youth in Oujda has announced the launch of a new phase, placing "empowering youth" as a top priority to keep pace with the ambitions of "the rising Morocco."
