The Al-Amal neighborhood in the city of Taza witnessed, on the evening of Thursday, May 14, 2026, a state of shock and sadness following the death of a woman inside her family's home under circumstances that are still mysterious. This incident mobilized various security services and the competent authorities.
Upon being notified of the incident, elements of the national security and local authorities moved to the scene, where a field investigation was opened under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, in order to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and reveal the causes and backgrounds associated with it. The body of the deceased was also transferred to the morgue at Ibn Baja Regional Hospital in the city of Taza, to subject it to a medical autopsy in accordance with the legal procedures in force, pending the results of the ongoing investigations. The incident left a state of emotion among the deceased's family members, her neighbors, and the residents of the neighborhood, who expressed their shock at this painful news.
