Casablanca stock exchange opens session almost stable

The Casablanca Stock Exchange began Monday’s session almost stable, with the MASI index, dropping slightly by 0.01% to 12,197.71 points.

The MSI 20, an index of the 20 most liquid stocks, dropped by 0.1% to 983.26 points, and the Casablanca ESG 10 index also fell by 0.08% to 906.3 points.

On the upside, Cartier Saada recorded the largest increase (+5.8% to MAD 28.47), ahead of Delattre Levivier Maroc (+4.48% to MAD 78.29), and Delta Holding (+2.94% to MAD 29.44).

In contrast, Stokvis Nord Afrique showed the highest drop (-4.95% to MAD 14.02), followed by Colorado (-3.29% to MAD 50), and Snep (-2.62% to MAD 817).

Last week at the closing, the MASI had gained 0.5% to 12,198.68 points and the MSI 20 rose by 0.42% to 984.29 points.
