The municipality of Foum Oudi, belonging to the province of Beni Mellal, witnessed a state of security and medical alert early this Friday morning, following a shooting incident that resulted in nine people being injured with varying degrees of severity, using a hunting rifle.
Local sources reported that the victims were quickly transported to the Beni Mellal Regional Hospital Center, where they underwent examinations and necessary treatments, while the health condition of two injured people in the chest required their transfer to the Ibn Rochd University Hospital Center in Casablanca to receive specialized medical care. Other injured people were also kept in the orthopedic surgery department due to injuries to their limbs, while a third person is under medical observation, while the rest of the injured received the necessary first aid and some of them left the health institution after their condition stabilized. Immediately after the incident, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie moved to the scene, where they began their field investigations under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, in order to determine the circumstances of the incident and reveal all the associated conditions.
