Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch arrived today, Thursday, in Nouakchott to represent His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the inauguration ceremony of Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, re-elected for a second term.
The Prime Minister was received at Nouakchott airport by the Mauritanian Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Massoud, as well as the Ambassador of the Kingdom to Mauritania, Mr. Hamid Chabar.
It is noteworthy that Mohamed Ould Cheikh Al-Ghazouani decided to win a second term as president of the country, in the first round, after obtaining 56.12 percent of the votes of Mauritanian voters in the presidential election that took place on June 29 last year.
