Bouznika: Discovery of a speedboat “Phontom” on the beach alerts the authorities

The security authorities of the Benslimane province have opened their investigations concerning the grounding of a Zodiac boat, of the “Phontom” type, whose identity is unknown, today Friday August 2, on the beach of Bouznika.

The speedboat, equipped with four powerful engines, was discovered near the aforementioned beach, carrying food remains and foreign products. Local authorities and the Royal Gendarmerie were alerted and opened an investigation into the incident.

Local sources suggested that the boat was being used in a prohibited activity, or was being used for that purpose, as it was seized by the relevant authorities, pending the revelation of the circumstances of the incident.
