Heba Press: Rabat

Morocco will host the “24 Arcane Thunder” maneuvers, as the first African country, during the period extending from the 5th to the 16th of this month of August.

According to a statement from the US military command in Africa and Europe, these military exercises will involve the participation of approximately 300 soldiers from the United States of America, Morocco, the United Kingdom and Germany.

The same statement emphasizes that these exercises, which will be conducted in a joint environment, aim to allow participating forces the freedom to operate in the theater of operations of the American European Command.

The same exercises are part of the joint effort to strengthen interoperability with allied and partner forces under command structures spread across more than 3,000 forces.

Kilometers from Germany to the North Atlantic Ocean and Morocco.

It is worth noting that these exercises, which aim to improve the military capabilities of the participating countries and strengthen cooperation, understanding and coordination between their regular armies to face common challenges, will be held for the first time in the Kingdom of Morocco, after the last edition this year was held in Romania with the participation of Germany and Poland, in addition to the presence of military observers from Italy and the Czech Republic.

It is also worth noting that Morocco’s hosting of the “Mysterious Thunder” maneuvers reflects a multifaceted strategic importance, as participation in these US-led exercises will strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a reliable strategic ally in North Africa and the Mediterranean.

In addition, these maneuvers reflect close cooperative relations with countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany, which strengthen defense and security ties. They also strengthen military cooperation and coordination of efforts between partner countries, which contributes to the stability of the region.

Furthermore, Morocco will benefit from the exchange of experiences and advanced technologies in the field of electronic warfare and multidimensional defense, which will strengthen its defense capabilities in various areas.
