Tangier..Arrest of a perpetrator of a theft within a money transfer agency

On the morning of Wednesday, August 7, members of the state judicial police service of the city of Tangier were able to arrest a 30-year-old person suspected of involvement in the commission of a robbery under threat of violence from within a money transfer agency in the same city.

On July 17, the judicial police services, supported by crime scene technicians, initiated inspection procedures for a robbery under threat of using a knife from inside a money transfer agency in the “Zemmouri” neighborhood of the city of Tangier, during which the perpetrator was able to seize a sum of money, before conducting searches and investigations. Intensive efforts were made to identify and arrest him on Wednesday.

The search operation carried out in connection with this case resulted in the seizure of a bladed weapon, an identification mask, a hat, clothes and a personal bag suspected of having been used in the commission of this crime.

The suspect has been subjected to a judicial investigation, which is being conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, in order to uncover all the circumstances and circumstances of this case, as well as to identify the remaining possible extensions of this criminal activity.
