Authorities shock Raja Athletic Club before facing Al Ain, UAE
Raja Sports Club are preparing to face Emirati club Al Ain in a friendly match as both teams prepare for the upcoming football season.
Casablanca city authorities have refused to allow Raja Sports Club to play Al Ain, the Emirati club, with the Larbi Zaouli complex, in the presence of the public, because the works they are aware of have not been completed, particularly with regard to the rear doors, on which work is still in progress.
According to a well-informed source, the Raja team was forced to move its match against Al Ain, in the United Arab Emirates, to the Père Gekko stadium, but it also faced the refusal of the Casablanca authorities to authorize the holding of the match in the presence of the public.
The match is expected to take place on the pitch of the “Père Gekko” stadium, or the “Arabi Zaouli” stadium, without an audience, according to the same source.
It is worth noting that the match between Raja Athletic Club and Al Ain United Arab Emirates at 6 p.m. will be broadcast on television.
