Office des Changes: “France is at the forefront of foreign investors in Morocco”

Strong economic relations have united Morocco and France for decades, as evidenced by the figures and data disclosed by the Office des Changes concerning the value of foreign investments in the Kingdom of Morocco.

In this regard, the Foreign Exchange Office indicated that France ranked first among foreign investors in Morocco in 2023, with a net inflow of 6.8 billion dirhams, compared to 3.8 billion dirhams in 2022, an increase of 79.5%.

The office explained, in its annual report on the balance of payments and the global external position of Morocco for the year 2023, that this flow represents a share of 61.4% of the total net flow of foreign direct investments.
