The "Tafrata" area, under the territorial jurisdiction of the Ghouara Oulad Rahou commune in the Jerada province, witnessed a state of alert after noon today, Friday, following the discovery of a person with head injuries, lying on the side of National Road No. 6.
According to available data, the competent authorities were notified of the incident, before civil protection elements arrived at the scene, where the injured person was transported by ambulance to the emergency department of the Jerada Provincial Hospital for medical examinations and necessary treatment.
The nature of the injuries sustained by the person has not been clarified yet, nor has their identity been determined, or the reasons for their presence in this condition on the side of the national road.
In the same context, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie, affiliated with the competent authorities, have initiated field investigations and inquiries to identify the injured person, gather data related to the incident, and question a number of individuals who may possess information that could help uncover its circumstances.
The ongoing investigations include determining whether the injuries resulted from an accidental incident, or if it is another incident, as well as determining the circumstances that preceded the discovery of the person at the mentioned location.
It is expected that the field investigations, along with the medical data that may be obtained after the injured person undergoes examinations, will contribute to clarifying the circumstances of the incident and determining potential responsibilities, under the supervision of the competent public prosecution.
