Officially… Moroccans wishing to visit Azerbaijan are exempt from visa requirements from the end of the month

The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Morocco has issued a notification regarding the official start date of visa exemption for citizens of both countries.
In this regard, it was stated in the above-mentioned communication that persons holding regular passports and wishing to travel to Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Morocco will be exempted from visa requirements.
The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Morocco explained that the visa exemption agreement for holders of ordinary passports will officially enter into force on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
As of this date, Moroccan citizens will be able to travel to Azerbaijan without a visa for a stay of up to 90 days, provided that their passport is valid for at least 180 days from the date of entry.
Similarly, Azerbaijani citizens will enjoy the same visa-free residence privileges when visiting Morocco.
