HIBAPRESS from Chichaoua
Karim Zidan, a member of the Political Bureau of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) party, launched a sharp attack on Hicham Al-Mahjari, a parliamentarian from the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), describing him as an "electoral creature" who forgot the provinces of Chichaoua and the Souss-Massa region, only remembering them before the electoral deadlines by hastily paving some roads in Chichaoua to compensate for the work he had not done for five years.
Zidan challenged parliamentarian Al-Mahjari to learn the rules of management and governance from Aziz Akhannouch, urging him to witness the comprehensive transformation and development that the city of Agadir has undergone thanks to the work of the prominent RNI leader and head of government, instead of resorting to bidding and verbal skirmishes that do not contribute to progress and development.
This came during a communication meeting organized by the party in the commune of Mezouda, in the province of Chichaoua, last Sunday. Zidan refuted Al-Mahjari's claims about the lack of investments in the region, explaining that attracting investors necessarily requires the preparation of suitable infrastructure and groundwork first, which was overlooked by the previous supervisors of the region's management, led by Al-Mahjari.
Zidan had affirmed at the beginning of his speech that the party's leadership and its bases continue to work with "a red face and an upright head" in light of what the current government, headed by Aziz Akhannouch, has achieved. He highlighted, in the presence of Akhannouch, that the government has presented "the best governmental record in the history of Morocco," by advancing vital areas including health and education through the implementation of the "Pioneering Institutions" model, as well as encouraging investment and developing infrastructure.
In the same context, the RNI minister stressed the special attention given to those affected by the Al Haouz earthquake, highlighting that the head of government was one of the strongest defenders of their rights and worked to advocate for them on the ground, away from political posturing. He affirmed that the National Rally of Independents is steadily moving forward in completing its reform path and implementing the various layers of its development program to extend its effects to all regions of the Kingdom.
