Harsh criticism of Jawad Belhaj, who has been leading the Boxing University for 22 years
Heba Press – Rabat
A number of social media activists have criticized a number of university sports presidents, who have been marked by a dismal failure in their duties for many years and with little to no results.
Among the names that have been circulating is Jawad Belhaj, president of the Royal Boxing University, who has held the chair of the Royal Boxing University since 2002, without this sports university obtaining any major results, and despite this, its president has clung to the chair and the position and refused to present his resignation, so much so that he re-elects him every year and without any competitor!
Journalist Mohamed Wamousi published an article on his personal page on the social network Facebook in which he declared: “Mohamed Jawad Belhaj, president of the Royal Boxing University since 2002, spent 22 years in this position, as if it were an eternal mandate. !”
He added: “During this long period, and during five Olympic participations, Morocco has only managed to win a bronze medal thanks to the boxer Mohamed Rabiei. His motto: “Every 22 years, a copper medal!”
It is worth noting that Moroccan supporters have expressed their great dissatisfaction with the poor results obtained or their total absence in a sports group at the Paris 2024 Olympics, calling on higher authorities to intervene to put things back on track.
