HIBAPRESS
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, held discussions yesterday, Monday, September 21, in New York, with his counterpart from the Republic of Honduras, Mireya Agüero de Corrales.
This meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly, provided an opportunity to address various issues of common and regional interest, as well as ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between Rabat and Tegucigalpa.
It is worth noting that the Republic of Honduras decided last April to suspend its recognition of the "so-called Sahrawi Republic".
This decision was communicated to Mr. Bourita through an official letter from Ms. Agüero de Corrales.
