HIBAPRESS – Smara
Initial data from the legislative election results in the Smara constituency, after counting 82% of the ballot boxes, shows the Independence Party list, led by Moulay Zoubair Habdi, coming out on top with 5,995 votes, representing 45.69% of the votes cast.
The Authenticity and Modernity Party list came in second with 3,918 votes, or 29.86%, while the National Rally of Independents party came in third with 1,477 votes, or 11.26%.
The number of registered voters in the constituency was 24,306, of whom 15,270 cast their votes, a turnout of 63%. The number of votes cast was 13,121, compared to 2,149 invalid ballots. These results remain provisional pending the completion of counting the remaining ballot boxes and the official announcement of the final results.
