Following the disastrous failure of Moroccan boxing at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, and the lackluster participation of the Moroccan national boxing team, the Game Federation has decided to take a number of decisions.

In this regard, the Royal Boxing University dismissed the technical director, Othman Fazli, and the technical staff of the national team, following the negative results of the competitions of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The Boxing University, headed by Abdeljaouad Belhaj, held an emergency meeting, after the return of the Moroccan delegation from France, during which many decisions were taken regarding the future of national boxing, including the dismissal of the team’s coaches, the dissolution of the technical administration, and the formation of a temporary national committee to supervise the national teams of all categories, with the opening of the door to nominations to seek a foreign technical director.
