The provincial hospital in the city of Essaouira witnessed a state of alert among the city's authorities this Saturday morning, after the emergency department received 40 teachers who exhibited symptoms suspected to be related to the incident, pending the results of medical examinations and investigations that may be initiated by the competent authorities.
According to the newspaper's sources, a group of teachers suffered food poisoning after eating a collective meal during a training period, which necessitated their transfer to the hospital to receive treatment.
Meanwhile, the headquarters of the Provincial Directorate of National Education, Early Childhood and Sports is witnessing a protest by a group of teachers due to their colleagues suffering from food poisoning while participating in a training course.
