Colonel El Houasi Adnan has taken up his duties as the new commander of the Royal Gendarmerie Regional Command in Agadir, coming from the Supreme Command of the Royal Gendarmerie in Rabat, succeeding Colonel Major Abdelali Dahmani.
This appointment comes as part of the transitional movement within the Royal Gendarmerie services, aimed at injecting new blood into positions of responsibility, strengthening security efficiency, and developing the field performance of various units.
In return, Colonel Major Abdelali Dahmani has been appointed commander of the Royal Gendarmerie Officers School in Casablanca, after a period spent at the head of the Royal Gendarmerie Regional Command in Agadir.
The new regional commander will oversee a vast territorial area in the Souss-Massa region, in light of the multiplicity of security, preventive, and judicial files related to maintaining public order and combating crime.
