HIBAPRESS – Taza
The residents of the Jaouna area in the city of Taza are experiencing continuous difficulties in transportation, in light of the absence of public transport that regularly connects the area to the urban area of the city.
A number of citizens, especially students, workers, and the elderly, find themselves forced to cover daily distances to reach the center of Taza or their educational institutions and workplaces, a situation that increases the difficulty of their commutes and burdens families. The residents emphasize that the problem is not related to the road condition, which is in good shape, but rather to the lack of a regular public transport service that meets the needs of the area and its inhabitants. In this context, the residents have directed demands to the Kaladman commune and the Fogal company to study the possibility of including the area in the bus transport network, ensuring regular and safe trips and alleviating the suffering of citizens. The residents believe that providing a public transport line would contribute to breaking the isolation of Jaouna and strengthening its connection with the city of Taza, especially with the increasing daily needs of the residents for accessible transportation. The residents hope that this demand will be met with interaction from the concerned authorities and the opening of a direct dialogue on the possibility of finding a practical and sustainable solution to this issue, which has become directly affecting the daily lives of a number of residents in the area.
