On Monday evening, October 12, 2026, a human body was found on the coastal strip between Imsouane and Timizikida Ouftas, north of Agadir. The incident has alarmed the competent authorities, with speculation that it is linked to the disappearance of an English tourist at sea.
The tourist had disappeared under mysterious circumstances after renting a jet ski. This led to search operations for him, before the discovery of the body renewed interest in the circumstances of the incident.
The body was transferred to the morgue, while the competent authorities initiated the necessary procedures to officially identify it, in parallel with opening an investigation to reveal the circumstances and details of the incident, and determine the real causes of the accident, pending the results of the medical autopsy.
