Arrest of hallucinogenic pill traffickers in Kenitra
In the early hours of yesterday morning, Tuesday, August 13, the police officers of the Kenitra Security Province, in coordination with the interests of the General Directorate of National Territorial Surveillance, were able to arrest two people, aged 29 and 31, suspected of their involvement in a case related to the possession and promotion of drugs and psychotropic substances.
The two suspects were arrested at the show station located on the highway, immediately after their arrival in a car from one of the cities in the north of the Kingdom.
The search operation resulted in the discovery in their possession of 2,563 tablets of the narcotic Rivotril, in addition to a sum of money suspected to be the proceeds of this criminal activity.
The two suspects were placed in theoretical detention pending a judicial investigation supervised by the competent public prosecutor’s office, in order to identify the possible remaining extensions of this criminal activity, as well as to arrest the other alleged contributors and participants in the commission of these criminal acts.
