Real Madrid suffer blow ahead of European Super Cup match

Spanish football club Real Madrid announced on Wednesday that its French player, Eduardo Camavinga, has suffered a sprained internal collateral ligament in his left knee.

The French international suffered the injury while taking part in the final training session held by the royal team at the “Narodoi” stadium in the Polish capital, Warsaw, before meeting Atalanta in the European Super Cup.

The Royal Club said in its statement: “After the tests carried out today, our player Eduardo Camavinga has been diagnosed with a sprain of the internal lateral ligament of the left knee. We await the evolution of his health.”
