Al-Nasr and Croatia national team star announces retirement from international football
Croatian international Marcelo Brozovic, Al-Nasr’s Saudi midfielder, announced on Wednesday the end of his career with his country’s national team, retiring from international football after a 10-year career in which he made 99 appearances.

He continued: “I have always given 100 percent of my effort, energy, strength and passion for Croatia. This is the standard set by many great players before me. I feel like I have experienced it all.”
He added: “It is difficult to say goodbye to the national team for many reasons, but for one reason, I have been suffering for a long time.”
He continued: “It’s hard to say goodbye to Luca and Cova, with whom I had a lot of fun, and who I knew by heart on the pitch, and with whom it was a pleasure to play, and to everyone, young and old, because we knew how to give 100 percent on the pitch and how to have a good time off the pitch, I know how much I will miss everything.
Brozovic, 31, who joined the Croatian national team in 2014, was a key part of Croatia’s golden generation that reached the 2018 World Cup final in Russia and secured third place at the 2022 edition in Qatar.
