Stray dogs invade the streets and alleys of Errachidia
Heba Press – Errachidia
Residents of the neighborhoods of Ain El Ati 1, Mostaqbal Ziz, Al Waha, Al Enara, Al Safa, Al Aman, Oued Eddahab, Tarka El Jadidah and El Jadid Ezemmour… in the city of Errachidia are complaining about the terrible spread of the virus. stray dogs.
The location of these neighborhoods near the forest facilitates the spread of these dogs, which suddenly come out, especially at night, to fill their alleys with terror and panic, because they pose a threat to the safety of children. Especially since these dogs move in free groups near the homes of residents.
The presence of a large number of dogs in these neighborhoods poses a real threat to residents, especially children who are prevented from playing near their homes by their guardians, for fear of being attacked by potentially rabid dogs.
Those affected are calling on the relevant authorities to intervene in order to find a solution to the problem of stray dogs, before incidents that could have serious consequences occur, and to take the necessary measures to protect residents from the risk of being attacked by them.
The citizens of these neighborhoods expressed concern about the persistence of the situation in the face of the silence of the authorities concerned, particularly the Rachidia Community Council, which did not respond to their calls in the desired manner, despite their repeated requests to it, with the aim of an effective and responsible intervention in order to combat the phenomenon.
It should be noted that local authorities, as provided for in Article 100 of their regulatory law, are the body responsible for “taking the necessary measures to prevent the wandering of harmful and harmful animals, monitoring domestic animals, collecting stray dogs and combating rabies” and any other disease that threatens domestic animals in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.
