The girl’s family, who had lost their family, had the young man sexually exploit the girl several months after the start of this illegal relationship.
On July 23, the girl’s brothers confronted the young man and fought with him, demanding that he stay away from their sister. The young man responded the next day by filing a complaint with the Royal Gendarmerie supported by a medical certificate. , which prompted the mother to take her daughter to the Royal Gendarmerie to confront her with the young man, and proved her relationship with the child through the correspondence on her mobile phone.
In a moment of inattention on the part of the mother, the child took rat poison for fear of being exposed. She was quickly transferred to the regional hospital of Sidi Slimane, where she was then transferred to the Al-Idrissi hospital in Kenitra. After waiting four hours without any medical intervention, the child died in the hands of his mother, triggering a state of deep anger and sadness within the family.
Following the incident, the mother learned from the forensic report that her daughter had been deflowered a long time ago, suggesting that this was the reason for her daughter’s suicide.
Furthermore, the victim’s mother appealed to media professionals, human rights activists and lawyers to support her and shed light on her daughter’s case, demanding that those who exploit her be held accountable.
