Casablanca restaurants and snack bars raise food prices under the pretext that “chicken is expensive”

This time, we are seeing a new increase in the prices of “sandwiches”, “tacos” and all chicken-based snacks in the majority of fast food restaurants and fast food stores in Casablanca.

For example, the price of “chicken tacos” has gone from 30 dirhams to 35 dirhams in several fast food restaurants in Casablanca, while the price of the “poli sandwich” has gone from 20 dirhams to 25 dirhams, and so on.

The owners of these stores justified the increase in the prices of meals and food by the increase in the price of chicken in the markets, since the price per kilogram has now become around 30 dirhams, which has caused them great losses because they maintained the previous prices.
