After Ghali Called ‘Professors’ ‘Thirsty’… ‘Othmani’ Resigns From Moroccan Human Rights Association

It seems that the statements of the president of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights, Aziz Ghali, regarding the participation of professors in statistics, will not go unnoticed.
During this interview, a number of human rights and community activists interacted with Ghali’s statement and expressed their categorical rejection of its content.
In this regard, Abdelhak Al-Othmani, member of the board of the Moroccan Society for Human Rights, announced his resignation from the association.
Al-Othmani said in a letter to the president of the International Federation for Human Rights: “I inform you, Mr. President, that your deputy has abandoned the struggle at the level of human rights… has abandoned the class struggle in general… and has devoted himself to defending the state by leaving it safe and sound, and its unjustified attack in its name against a group of teachers… In addition to calling this class the most honorable and “the most treacherous…!!!” With epithets that do not suit its legal status, he worked to create a free conflict between them, the unemployed and the students, as he considered educators as “the thieves of the unemployed and students for job opportunities.” excite the people and the children of the people against the teachers.
Accordingly, Othmani added, I am pleased to inform you, Mr. President, that I am withdrawing confidence from your deputy as president of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights, and I am informing you that I am resigning from the Moroccan Association and its structures. … and may you always protect human rights, even if it goes against your representative… and peace.”
