The inauguration of the new men of authority in the province of Settat is part of the transition movement led by the Ministry of the Interior, in execution of the high royal instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory and his support. which make it “the service to citizens, within the framework of the principles of equality and equity in the coverage of the national territory, and continuity in the provision of services”, the fundamental task of public administration.
Hicham Boumhraz, Pasha of the city of Settat, was appointed. He was born in 1982 in Guercif. He holds a degree in private law, a master’s degree in criminal law and forensic sciences and a diploma from the Royal Institute of Territorial Administration. , Regiment 45. He entered the administration in 2008, where he worked as Commander of the Amer Command in Salé from 10/24/2010 to 07/31/2017, Commander of the Command and Chains of Ouarzazate from 08/23/2017 to. 08/01/2019, then President of the Third Urban District from August 15, 2019 to August 15, 2022, then Pasha of the city of Laayoune since September 1, 2022.

The governor of the region called on the new men of authority to engage seriously and forcefully in the major development projects that the Kingdom is aware of, such as the organization of the 2025 African Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup, as well as in all projects within the framework of the National Initiative for Human Development. calling on them to “demonstrate a spirit of responsibility and full commitment in addressing the various issues and problems in their areas of influence by adopting administrative and legal measures to address them”, including “the problems of illegal and massive construction on public and public lands.” real estate, in addition to the challenges posed by water stress at the national level in general and at the national level of the province of Settat in particular, and the efforts that this requires to rationalize and streamline the use of water, given that the preservation of this vital material is a necessity. a national responsibility that concerns all actors in this sector.
In his speech, Abou Zeid stressed the need to “discuss the economic and social reforms that are still underway and that will open promising horizons of decent life to Moroccan society in all its categories and to the inhabitants of the promising province of Settat in particular, and what this requires in terms of close monitoring and control.
