Beni Mellal…the governor of the region presides over the investiture ceremony of the new men in power

The governor of the Beni Mellal-Khénifra region, Khatib El-Habil, presided over the inauguration ceremony of the new men in power at the state headquarters on the evening of Monday, August 19, in the presence of representatives of the judicial authorities of the Beni Mellal region, security, military and civilian figures, heads of elected councils, parliamentarians, representatives of civil society and the media.
In his speech on this occasion, the governor of the region indicated that the appointment of new men of authority following the transition movement led by the Ministry of the Interior is part of the implementation of royal directives calling for greater efficiency and optimal rationalization of human resources in the body of men of authority, to advance the work of the territorial administration, according to an effective dynamism that makes the administration at the service of citizens, at the pace of their needs and taking into account their interests.
The governor of the region presented the new men of authority who were appointed in the province of Beni Mellal and the men of authority who were included in the internal transition movement, at the level of certain administrative attachés and leaders of the province of Beni Mellal.
The governor of the region stressed that the man of authority is considered a central element of the territorial administration through the daily monitoring of what is happening in all sectors at the level of all cities, centers, neighborhoods, districts and areas of influence, recalling the great importance of men of authority in activating the programs of the National Initiative for Human Development and various other social development programs, and stressing to continue efforts with determination to combat random construction, which remains a red line, especially in neighborhoods and margins that are vulnerable to the spread of this phenomenon, considered among the heavy and complex problems that concern us, due to its social, economic and environmental burden and its multiple negative repercussions; Which creates serious social problems, distorts the urban space, negatively affects the level of human development of the country and hinders all efforts to raise the standard of living of the citizen and provide an appropriate framework to preserve his dignity.
The governor of the region called on the men of authority to demonstrate a high spirit of seriousness, firmness and responsibility, in accordance with the royal directives, stressing in this regard the effort and the redoublement of efforts, in continuous coordination, with all stakeholders and concerned interests in all areas, to keep pace and follow up all development programs under control and projects scheduled or in the process of being completed at the level of their administrative units and territorial groupings.
He also called for responsible involvement in efforts to overcome the immediate constraints encountered by the current situation that this region is going through, as is the case for the rest of the regions of the Kingdom. We mention in particular the climatic fluctuations and the successive years of drought and their negative repercussions on the supply of drinking water to the various urban and rural centers and on agricultural products, because water resources suffer from real water stress and the economic and social side effects of this on the standard of living of the population, reviewing the royal directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI supported and supported his victory, included in the Supreme Speech on the occasion of the commemoration of this year’s Throne Day, where His Majesty expressed his great attention to the water problem facing the country, considering this problem as one of the most important challenges facing the Kingdom and requiring more efforts, vigilance and creativity in solutions and wisdom in management.
He also mentioned the strict instructions of the Ministry of the Interior regarding maximum mobilization in order to optimally manage water stress, in particular by tightening the procedures represented in the work of regulating and rationing flows, while fighting against fraud and waste and waste of water, as well as the support steps in the implementation of projects, mobilization and awareness campaigns, calling on the security services, elected officials, representatives of foreign interests and civil society activists to reach out and assist the new men in power.
