Royal pardon for those convicted in cannabis cultivation cases

On the occasion of the King’s birthday and the People’s Revolution, the Ministry of Justice announced today the granting of a royal pardon
A statement from the Justice Department provides for an amnesty that has benefited 4,831 people who were convicted, prosecuted or investigated in cases related to cannabis cultivation and who met the requirements for the amnesty.
A statement from the Ministry of Justice states that in addition to the humanitarian aspects of “this gesture by the Royal Majesty, it will allow those included in it to integrate into the new strategy in which the regions concerned have committed themselves following the creation of the National Agency” for the legalization of activities related to marijuana.
