Meknes.. Celebration of Youth Day, distribution of school buses and inauguration of two youth development centers

On the occasion of the celebration of the sixty-first anniversary of the Glorious Youth Day, the Prefecture of Meknes organized today, Wednesday August 21, 2024, a set of important development events within the framework of the National Initiative for Human Development.
Among the most notable of these activities was the supervision of the Governor of the Prefecture of Meknes and the official delegation that accompanied him on the distribution of 16 school buses for the benefit of 15 local authorities, for a total financial cost of €5,943,916.00 dirhams, to which the National Initiative for Human Development contributed €2,983,916.00 dirhams, in 2007, the Prefectural Council of Meknes made a contribution of €2,460,000.00 dirhams, in addition to the contribution of the Community Council of Boufkrane of €500,000 dirhams. This project aims to improve the schooling conditions of students, particularly those from rural areas, and to strengthen their educational opportunities, which would have a positive impact on reducing the phenomenon of early school dropout and increasing the school enrollment rate, particularly at the middle school level.
On the same occasion, Mr. Al-Amel supervised the inauguration of two youth development centers, the first at the Sidi Ali Center affiliated with the Maghasis group, for a total estimated cost of 2,251,806.22 dirhams, entirely funded by the National Initiative and in partnership with the Maghasis group, which provided the real estate base to establish the center, and the second at the Nazalat Bani Ammar community center for a total estimated cost of 2,213,510.37 dirhams, entirely funded by the National Initiative and in partnership with the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports in Meknes, which provided the real estate base for the location of the center, with the aim of providing suitable spaces for the benefit of young people to enable them to carry out their parallel studies, cultural and artistic school activities and develop their skills in the best conditions.
These initiatives embody the commitment of the Meknes prefecture, within the framework of the National Initiative for Human Development, to advance youth issues, in accordance with the Royal Directives, the first patron of the young generations, as His Majesty, as His Majesty ascended to power. the throne of his glorious ancestors, continued to launch initiatives and programs aimed at ensuring the economic and social prosperity of young people and enabling them to contribute effectively to the societal dynamism that our country knows in various fields.

Yesterday, Tuesday, the worker Al-Sabbar also chaired the official ceremonies to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People and the 61st anniversary of the Glorious Youth Day.
Thus, the official delegation visited the cemetery of the martyrs of Thuluth Fahul, where clear verses of the Holy Quran were recited, and the chairman of the Scientific Council also delivered a speech on this occasion.
The delegation prayed for the souls of the martyrs of the resistance and members of the Liberation Army, led by the late His Majesty King Mohammed V and the late His Majesty King Hassan II, and also prayed for victory and good health.
The official delegation then visited the sixty-year-old Meshour district of Riad Al-Mansour Al-Dhahabi, where it visited an exhibition of photos and publications commemorating the resistance of Meknes residents to colonialism.
The celebration program of the first day saw a festival of speeches and an artistic ceremony, in which participated, in addition to Abdel-Ghani Essabar, the president of the community council of Meknes, the president of the labor council of the prefecture of Meknes, the representative of health, the representative of the Resistance and the Liberation Army, and the president of the local scientific council of Meknes.
