Operation Marhaba: Traffic at Al Hoceima Airport increased by 27 percent

Since the start of the “Marhaba 2024” operation, traffic at Chérif Idrissi airport in Al Hoceima has increased by 27 percent, compared to the same period of the 2023 operation.
In this context, Fouad Al Khattabi, head of the airport operations department of Al Hoceima airport, Cherif Al Idrissi, indicated in a statement to the Maghreb Arab Press that the airport has received, since the launch of the Marhaba 2024 operation until today, Thursday, 42,773 passengers, including 23,747 arriving passengers, and 19 thousand 26 departures.
The same source also indicated that during the same period of the Marhaba 2023 operation, the passage of 33,667 of the total passengers was recorded, distributed between 18,697 passengers received by the airport, and 14,970 of those departing, explaining that the period of Marhaba operation for this year. recorded an increase, however, it is estimated at 27 percent compared to the same period last year.
Regarding the reception and departure conditions during the “Marhaba” operation at this air gate, the head of the Airport Operations Department stressed that they are in good security conditions for travelers thanks to the concerted efforts of the airport management, in cooperation with all the authorities involved, in order to improve the services provided at all airport facilities.
