Casablanca Stock Exchange closes trading on a rise

The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed its trading on a positive note today, Friday, as its main index “MASI” recorded an increase of 0.19% to stand at 13,954.07 points.
For its part, the “MASI.20” index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, recorded an increase of 0.19 percent to 1,132.01 points, while MASI.ESG, the index of companies with the best ESG rating, recorded an advance of 0.58 percent to 1,018.65 points.
In contrast, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, the price performance index of listed small and medium-sized companies, recorded a decrease of 0.35 percent to 1,250.9 points.
Regarding international indices, the “FTSE – CSE Maroc 15” index closed with a gain of 0.29% at 13,138.53 points, just like the “FTSE – CSE Maroc All – Liquid” index which recorded an increase of 0.38 percent at 11,722.19 points.
The total trading volume amounted to 125.78 million dirhams, which were carried out mainly on the central market (shares), and “Centre Populaire Banque” tops the list of the most traded stocks with a transaction volume of 12.65 million dirhams, followed by “Attijariwafa Bank” (10.43 million dirhams), and “Maroc Telecom” (10.26 million dirhams).
As for the market capitalization, it exceeded 725.86 billion dirhams.
In individual values, the strongest increases were recorded by “Stokovis North Africa” (+9.96% to 18 dirhams), “Infolis” (+9.62%/114 dirhams), and “Zillija” (+5.99%/84.79 dirhams). . “Tool Hall” (+5.03% / 71 dirhams), and “Stroke Industries” (+4.27% / 58.39 dirhams).
On the other hand, the biggest drops were recorded by “Mechanical Achievements Company” (-9.99% to 609.4 dirhams), “Fini Proceet” (-8.92% / 113.8 dirhams), and “Med Piper” (-7.29% / 24.66 dirhams). ), “Olmas” (-5.64% / 1,321 dirhams), and “La Belle Vie” (-2.99% / 4,550 dirhams).
