Weather: At least, thunderstorms with hail

Here is the weather forecast established by the General Directorate of National Meteorology for today, Saturday, August 24, 2024:

– Thunderstorms with hail in places on the High and Middle Atlas, their eastern slopes, the Eastern and Eastern Rif.

– Fairly hot weather in the extreme south-east and south of the country.

– Quite numerous low clouds in the morning and at night with foggy formations near the coast.

– Dust blowing in places over the Oriental, South-East and Southern Provinces.

– Fairly strong gusts of wind on the Central Coasts, the South-East, the East, the Anti-Atlas Regions and the Southern Provinces.

– Minimum temperatures of around 24/30°C in the South-East and South of the Saharan Provinces, 13/19°C in the Atlas, the Rif, the Souss and the northern and central interior plains, and 17/23°C in the rest of the Kingdom.

– Daytime temperatures dropping.

– Calm to slightly rough seas in the Mediterranean and on the Strait, slightly rough to rough north of Mehdia.
