Guersif.. Launch of the activities of the third session of the National Festival, Jewel of the Orient for Culture and Heritage

Yesterday, Friday, the activities of the third session of the National Festival of Culture and Heritage Jewel of the Orient were opened, organized by the Association Forum of Arts for Culture and Creativity with the support of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication – Culture Sector, and in coordination with the workers of the Province of Guercif and the Community of Guercif, under the slogan “Cultural diversity in Morocco is a lever for development”.

This festival will be held over three days on the 6th of November Square in Guersif, to celebrate the anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People and the Glorious Youth Day.

The first day of this festival was marked by the honoring of personalities who have contributed to the cultural, artistic and sporting fields by promoting the heritage of the region.

It also presented various musical acts, including Moroccan and Levantine tarab, youth and popular songs, in addition to the exhibition of traditional and folk artistic paintings, with the participation of a group of traditional groups and young artists.

This festival, which is in its third edition, aims to raise awareness of the cultural diversity that distinguishes our country, to contribute to the cultural and artistic influence of the Guercif region, to raise awareness of its intangible heritage, to preserve it, to promote it and to pass it on to future generations.

This festival is considered a good opportunity for young talents from the eastern province of Guercif to showcase their artistic talents and creativity.
