After a long battle with illness… the death of journalist Jamal Barawi

Journalist Jamal Barawi died early Monday morning after a long battle with illness.

In a post on his official Facebook page, the deceased’s children announced the death of their father.

The message read: “With all sadness and sorrow, we announce to all the news of the passing of our dear father, Jamal Barawi, who passed away at the mercy of God after suffering from an illness. We ask God Almighty to shower him with His vast mercy, to dwell in His spacious gardens and to inspire all of us and his loved ones with patience and comfort in this great affliction. We belong to Allah and to Him we will return.
