Particularly deadly weekend in Ukraine

A security adviser working with Reuters journalists was killed in a missile strike on his hotel in Kramatorsk, eastern Ukraine, on Saturday, the news agency said on Sunday.
The attack came during a particularly deadly weekend in Ukraine and Russia, during which at least 20 civilians have been killed in several bombings in the last 24 hours.
The man was part of the Reuters team staying at the Sapphire Hotel in Kramatorsk (…) when he was hit by a missile strikethe agency said in a statement on X, saying destroyed by the news.
Two of our journalists are in hospital; one is being treated for serious injuriesReuters added, adding that three other colleagues were unharmed.
Vadym Filashkin, governor of Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region, where most of the fighting is taking place, said the hotel in Kramatorsk was targeted by the Russian army.
One of our colleagues is missing, while two others have been taken to hospital for treatment.Reuters said in a statement, adding that three other members of their team were unharmed.
We are urgently seeking further information, working with the authorities in Kramatorsk and providing support to our colleagues and their families.the news agency added.
