Meknes.. Approval of important projects within the framework of the National Initiative for Human Development

The Regional Committee for Human Development of Workers in the Province of Meknes held yesterday, Monday, August 26, 2024, its third meeting for the year 2024, according to a report, a copy of which was sent to Hiba Press.

The same communication adds that this meeting was chaired by the Governor of the Province of Meknes, and in the presence of ladies and gentlemen, members of the Regional Committee for Human Development, gentlemen of authority, heads of local human development committees, and gentlemen heads of ministries of labor.

Its agenda revolved around the study and approval of projects proposed under the third program “Improving income and economic inclusion of young people”, in particular the axis of support for youth entrepreneurship.
After presenting the projects proposed to the members of the regional committee by the head of the social action department, and having studied them, the committee approved a total of 56 projects with a total financial envelope estimated at 6,106,150.48 dirhams, to which the initiative will bring an amount of 4.98 million dirhams, i.e. a percentage of 81.6% for the benefit of 58 beneficiaries.

The distribution of these projects according to the productive sectors shows that most of the approved projects concern the sectors of traditional industry, trade, industry and services. These projects improve the result approved during the two previous meetings of the Regional Committee held on June 4, 2024 and July 15, 2024, bringing the total number of approved projects to 135 projects with a total financial coverage of approximately 15 million dirhams, to which the National Initiative for Human Development contributed 11.8 million dirhams.
