Egyptian Mahraganat singer Hassan Shakoush spoke out in a video on his official page, apologizing to the Tunisian people and expressing his love for Tunisia, its people and his close friends.
Shakoush stated through the video he published via the “Story” section that he presents this clip to apologize for what he had done previously and for his speech at Carthage airport, explaining that he did not intend to offend or insult the Tunisian people, saying: “…the countries of my family, my people and of course, and Tunisia is a beautiful art, I cannot harm them, and my close Tunisian friends know how much I love Tunisia.”
Shakoush expressed his appreciation and love for the Tunisian people and Tunisia, which rushes to his concerts whenever he has the opportunity, noting that Tunisia is considered his second country. He said apologetically: “I apologize completely to the entire Tunisian people and I say, ‘You are above my head, big and small.’
Artist Mustafa Kamel, president of the Syndicate of Musical Professions, has decided to send singer Hassan Shakoush for investigation and suspend him from his job until his appearance on Tuesday before the Legal Affairs and Investigations Commission due to the recent incident in Tunisia.
