With the end of the summer season, chicken prices have seen a slight decline
Heba Press – Rabat
Over the past two days, chicken prices have seen a slight decline in various markets and department stores.
Prices of live chickens fell, ranging from 3 to 5 dirhams per kilo, to reach 22 dirhams in most cities, while prices of slaughtered chickens varied between 40 and 50 dirhams.
For their part, egg prices recorded a notable drop, since the price of turkey eggs was between 1.40 and 1.60 cents, while the price of local eggs ranged between 2.50 and 3 dirhams.
Despite the slight drop in prices, a number of citizens continue the campaign to boycott chicken under the slogan “Let it be eaten” until it falls back to its natural and ordinary price.
