It’s tomorrow, Wednesday August 28, 2024, Paris will vibrate to the rhythm of the Paralympic flame, carried by one of the greatest icons of action cinema, Jackie Chan.

Jackie Chan will therefore take part in the torch relay in the French capital, marking a highlight of the opening of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

At 5:30 p.m., Jackie Chan will set off from Rue Vieille du Temple, in the 4th Arrondissement of Paris, a district known for its rich heritage and historical atmosphere, which symbolizes the link between tradition and modernity, the values ​​dear to the Paralympic Games.

The flame’s journey through Paris will continue to the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, for an opening ceremony scheduled for 8:00 p.m., with a spectacular arrival at the Place de la Concorde.

The Paralympic flame, a symbol of unity and perseverance, began its journey in Great Britain before reaching France. Last Sunday, it arrived in Calais, carried by 24 British scouts who handed over the baton to 24 French people. Since then, it has been traveling the roads of France, celebrating the country’s cultural diversity and its commitment to the Paralympic Values.
