From the depths of the Middle Atlas Mountains in Boullmane, the Minister of National Education, Primary Education and Sports, carried out today, Tuesday August 27, 2024, a field visit to a number of educational establishments affiliated with the Regional Directorate of Boullmane, affiliated with the Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Fez-Meknes region.
These visits are part of the monitoring of the implementation of the various projects of the 2022-2026 reform roadmap, in particular the Pioneering Institutions Project and the Pioneering Preparatory Schools Project, as well as the monitoring of preparation for the start of the school year with the entry into school fees for 2024-2025. This visit aims to determine the progress of the implementation of the various measures and procedures to ensure a successful start to the school year.
In this context, the Minister of Kiko City visited the March 3 Preparatory High School, which is one of the institutions involved in the pioneer preparatory school project in the Pullman district. Where I presented to the Minister the most important indicators on the progress of the implementation of the preparatory project for leadership at the Regional Academy of Education and Training in the Fez-Meknes region. He reviewed the readiness of this institution to welcome students, whether in terms of the rehabilitation of classrooms and the rest of the institution’s spaces or in terms of providing them with the necessary equipment, including computer equipment, equipment for sports and educational activities. equipment. The Minister also reviewed the educational indicators of the institution, as well as the various preparatory educational processes and framing the work of the educational team of the institution. The director of the Academy indicated that the project of pioneering preparatory schools in the Fez-Meknes region concerns 30 preparatory secondary schools distributed between different regional directorates and targets more than 24,500 students, girls and boys.
The visit also included the Lalla Khadija Bikiko College School and the Pullman Central School in Pullman, two institutions involved in the Primary School Leadership Institutions Project. The Minister reviewed the progress of the rehabilitation and equipment of the various spaces of these institutions. In addition to all the arrangements and operations carried out in these establishments and their degree of readiness to welcome students, he also looked at the evolution of the educational indicators of these establishments and the objectives set by the educational teams to improve these indicators. Regarding the launch of the leadership institutions project at the regional academy of the Fez-Meknes region, the same official confirmed that this season will see the involvement of 253 primary education establishments, targeting more than 145,078 female and male students.
