Boulman: Minister Benmoussa checks the state of readiness of schools that are involved in the Pioneer Schools Project

From the depths of the Middle Atlas in Boulman, the Minister of National Education, Preschool Education and Sports carried out, today Tuesday August 27, 2024, a field visit to a number of educational establishments under the Regional Directorate of Boulman of the Regional Academy of Education and Training of Fez Meknes.
These visits are part of the monitoring of the implementation of the various projects of the 2022-2026 reform roadmap, in particular the Pioneer Schools project, as well as preparations for the 2024-2025 school year.
This visit aims to monitor the implementation of the various measures and procedures to ensure a smooth return to school.
In this context, the Minister visited the March 3 Preparatory High School located in the high place of Kiko, one of the institutions involved in the project of preparation for the Pioneer Schools in the district of Boulman.
The Minister was informed about the progress of the implementation of the project at the Regional Academy of Education and Training of Fez-Meknes. He inspected the state of readiness of this establishment, at the reception of students, taking a look at the level of rehabilitation of classrooms and other spaces of the institution, as well as at the level of its equipment with necessary materials, including information material, sports equipment and educational materials.
The minister also inspected the educational indicators of the institution, as well as the various preparatory educational processes that frame the work of the institution’s teaching team.
The Director of the Academy indicated that the pioneer schools project in the Fez-Meknes region includes 30 preparatory schools distributed in different Regional Directorates, targeting more than 24,500 students.
The visit also included the Lalla Khadija Community School in Kiko and the Boulman Center School in Boulman, two institutions involved in the pioneer schools project at the primary level.
The Minister inspected the progress of the rehabilitation and equipment work of the various areas of these establishments. He also examined the evolution of the educational indicators of these establishments and the objectives set by the educational teams to improve these indicators.
Regarding the implementation of the Pioneer Schools project at the Regional Academy of Fez Meknes, the same official confirmed that this season will see the participation of 253 primary education establishments, targeting more than 145,078 students.
