Heavy summer rains bring Bine El Ouidane dam back to life

Hope and life have returned to Bine El Ouidane thanks to the recent rains and storms observed in several regions of the Kingdom of Morocco.

In this regard, updated data published by the Morocco Dams Platform of the Ministry of Equipment and Water indicated that the filling rate of the Bine El Ouidane dam increased after the recent summer rains.

According to the same official platform, the filling rate of the Bine El Ouidane dam rose to 13.80 percent against 9.43 percent last year, with total water imports amounting to 167.7 million cubic meters.
