Lakjaa receives the players and members of the national football team inside the hall

The President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fawzi Lakjaa, received today Wednesday in Salé, inside the hall, the members of the delegation of the national football team, which will travel next Sunday to Uzbekistan to participate in the final phase of the World Cup.

A statement from the university said that at the beginning of the reception held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, Mr. Lakjaa renewed his congratulations to the players of the national football team present inside the hall after winning the African Cup of Nations for the third time, which allowed them to qualify for the final phase of the World Cup, which will be held in Uzbekistan between September 14 and October 6, calling on them to “honor Moroccan football in this global competition, and to offer a level worthy of its reputation.”

The same source added that during this reception, Mr. Lakjaa reviewed the latest preparations of the national football team inside the hall for this world forum, noting that the Moroccan Royal Football League offered all the possibilities of success to the Moroccan elite, which he described as “exemplary”.

The president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation stressed that participation in the final phase of the World Cup only knows its value by those who have already participated in it, stressing the need to achieve positive results in this international arena, especially after the experience accumulated by the national elements in this category of football, which qualified them to occupy the sixth place at the international level, according to the latest ranking published by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).

It is worth noting that the draw for the Indoor Football World Cup final placed the national team in the fifth group alongside the teams of Portugal, Panama and Tajikistan.
