An outage affects the Noor 3 solar power plant and puts it out of service

Saudi renewable energy company Aqua Power International announced on Sunday a storage outage at one of its solar power plants it operates in Morocco, which will cost the company approximately $47 million.
The company said on the Saudi Stock Exchange website that the plant, with a capacity of 150 megawatts, part of the Noor Ouarzazate complex, will remain inoperative until November 2024. The company plans to repair the storage problem and is considering also the construction of a storage tank.
The company said initial estimates indicate a loss of revenue for the project worth US$47 million.
