In Belgium… Shooting in Brussels leaves victims

Two people were shot and killed in the city of Brussels today, Sunday, in two separate incidents amid a rise in crimes linked to drug trafficking, according to Belgian police sources.

A spokesperson for the Brussels police, without revealing his identity, according to the television channel “France 24” today Sunday, said he heard the first shots, which led to the death of a person in the commune of “Laeken” to the north of the Belgian capital… adding that after a few hours, a new shooting took place in a neighborhood near the center, where a seriously injured person was found.

Another Belgian police spokesperson, who did not reveal his identity, confirmed that the injured person was taken to hospital but breathed his last there from his injuries.
