British Sound Energy begins construction of huge reservoir to store gas discovered in Morocco

The British company “Sound Energy” has reached a very advanced stage in the process of extracting the gas discovered in the Tenderara field by starting the construction of a huge storage tank.
In this regard, the aforementioned company has started the construction of a storage tank within the framework of the liquefied gas project of the Tundara field, where production is expected to begin next year with a capacity of 100 million cubic meters per year, with the intention of increasing production to 280 million cubic meters, after connecting the field to the pipeline that connects Morocco to Spain.
Once completed, the height of the tank will reach 22 meters and will be able to accommodate 6,200 cubic meters of liquefied gas. The basic construction work of the station began in March 2022, in two stages, the first of which is to connect the power plant. gas wells to the liquefaction station, and the second of the installation of a 120-kilometer gas pipeline.
